8.34GB system storage on GDR3 ATIV S

Hi, I have an ATIV S running GDR3 and have an 8.34GB System file.

I've read that this is a bug in GDR3 and there's no way to fix it. Is this true? Will a hard reset reduce the system file?

I'd rather not go to 8.1 after reading the problems it's causing with the ATIV S.

Can anyone help with this?

me too same problem.
With hard reste memory become more or less 2.3GB, but it start to increase again.
I suppose the system after installing some app it doesn't cancel installation file.
I'm not sure it happens only in this case, but maybe it happens when you start download an app and then stop it before endng installation (for example id you don't have enough free space)

no idea if 8.1 fix it. I hope arrive the official to test seen the problems with DP

i had the same problem
Developer preview of 8.1 wont install because this. Only thing you can do is to re-flash your phone with WP 8.0
