830 Battery Life Very Good - How's Yours

Oh and mine says 33 hours left with 86% charge.

But people who look at this estimated time and think that's a useful information...well.....fail.

Right but at the end of the day when your phone is completely discharged after moderate use and your last charged sign says 17 hours ago that's when it tells how your battery has been performing

Well 17 hours is definitely better than my 920 and 925 on Cyan. What I was getting to was it used to be better before the update, about a day and half with the exact same apps. Now somehow it has gone down. It's not that I don't charge my phone everyday or 17 hours is not enough for me, it just helps when you're out on a trip. Well I guess turning off LTE or reducing the brightness would help when extra juice is needed, besides carrying an extra battery

I get between 18-24ish hours. My phone goes untouched for ~6 of those hours per day.

I've drained the battery before. It took approximately 5-6h of web browsing over Wi-Fi. This is good but not great. In my opinion, 8h is great and 10+ is spectacular.

I'm happy that the Lumia 830 lasts twice as long as my ageing Lumia 710 (which is truly pathetic in comparison). More juice would be nice though.

Mine is working very well until now. I bought it 2 months ago - or something like that -, and the battery stills going through the day without making me angry.
Using 3g/4g at almost full signal, a lot of WhatsApp and music during the day, and after 14 hours of use I still have around 50% of the battery left. I'm really really happy with the battery life of my 830
Now I'm facing a very hot summer here, lets see if the high temperatures will affect the battery life in any way. I remember that my 820 was literally burning the battery during the last summer. 100% to 0% in less than 8 hours with the same use as my current cellphone.
