8X Battery Life Much Better After Verizon Update!

I also am experiencing much improved battery life, particularly standby battery use seems greatly reduced. This alone makes Portico a 10+ update!!

Now if MS/Ford would straighten out the MyFordTouch/WP8 issues I could honestly say 'best phone ever'! I just want to be able to have texts read, and responded to, without any interaction in the MFT system in our 2013 Taurus like I can on the Sync system in my 2011 F-150. I guess newer isn't always better....

My 8X has not been connected to a source of power at all since around 11AM yesterday morning, and yet I'm just only now at 21%. This is incredible! I'm not constantly on my phone, of course, and sometimes when I'm in an area with Wi-Fi or when I'm in basement areas, I'll turn off my Cellular Data, but otherwise the improved battery life that comes with this update is just another reason why I love this phone!
