8X crashed wont start/wake

hi all, my HTC 8X just crashed randomly just now while playing some videos. the screen does not light up or anything no matter what buttons i press. when i plug it in, the phone will start up past the "htc quietly brillant" page and then turn off, then vibrate and restart the whole cycle. there is a dial tone when i call my phone and it seems like its still working normally if i were to call it. however,on my side, the phone has no reaction whatsoever. pls help

I had the same thing happen 2 weeks ago. I rung HTC who raised a ticket and got me to send my phone in. they repaired it and sent it back (although it looks like a new phone). Only option I'm afraid. I was on the phone to HTC support for 30 minutes trying different things before they said it needs to be sent in.
