920 Dev Preview users. Have you'll got the cyan firmware update yet?
Especially the Country variant users.

If not. Then when are we supposed to get it?

Nope. Still waiting for ATT to release it. Via twitter they have confirmed what the rollout chart says which is it's in testing and they'll let us know when it's scheduled for release. Translation based on previous experience: we're not saying anything and when you check for updates and it shows up, we'll confirm that it has been released.

I can confirm that you do have to downgrade via the Nokia Software Recovery Tool, to get Cyan. I had to do this with my AT&T lumia 920.

When you update to Cyan, can you install DP and upgrade back to WP 8.1.1 (to get back folders and the latest stuff)?

Got the UK CV about 10 days ago.

I did have to flash back to 8.0 before getting it.

I used these instructions as others seem to be missing some requirements.

I can't update to Cyan with DFP CV Italy, where cyan is already released for 920. Ie carriers aren't the hold up... Development is.

I had to hard reset to get WP8.1 update 1. So I really can't be bothered to install some nokia software and have to go through another convoluted re-install process. FYI I'm UK EE (but unlocked) 920 and not on Cyan.

I'm just hoping I can skip cyan and go straight to Denim.

I used the tool to downgrade to 8.0 to get Cyan on 1520 after I had the DP. But I wouldn't want to do it again. Too much of my saved data was lost for game progress and I even lost a couple of apps that were taken off the market.

A family member has another device on 8.1 dev preview 920 without Cyan because I signed them up for DP. I will not go through the process on that 920. It would just push them over the edge with all the saved progress they will lose not to mention the pictures that I am not sure are backed up to One Drive or not. So I patiently wait till the fix for DP is out for Cyan. Luckily, I haven't been asked to pair their Fitbit yet, because it won't work with 8.1 without Cyan.

My AT&T Lumia 920 was on DP with all updates. I checked the Nokia Software Recovery Tool yesterday and there was no update to the software. This morning, an updated version 3051.50009.1425.2001 was available. Current version on my phone was 3051.40000.1347.1001. This new version updated my phone to cyan. I used the following steps:

1. Backed up apps and settings from settings\backup menu on phone. Click on apps+settings and then select back up now. Also make sure your photos and videos are already backed up to OneDrive or your computer or you will lose them.
2. Install the updated software using the Nokia Software Recovery Tool.
3. When the install was done, I was presented with the option of recovering from my backup done in step 1. This might not be necessary at this point, but it helped b/c it restored Preview for Developers automatically.
4. Signed in to Preview for Developers app.
5. Checked for updates in settings\phone update, and then installed the available update.
6. When the update was done, I performed a hard reset using reset your phone button under settings\about.
7. After hard resetting, I was presented the option to recover my previous backup. After installing this backup, unlike at step 3, my start menu was restored exactly as it was before starting this whole process, including folders!

Easy Peasy. Ok, not really, but it wasn't TOO bad.

Had the cyan update from the end of August, I checked from the Lumia update app and it was ready for most carriers. So I was about to downgrade from PD using the Nokia software recovery tool and low and behold the cyan update was there ready to install so I did without having to downgrade, and I wish I didn't My phone is now lagging a lot on the start screen and websites, weird things keep happening like Cortana will just get up and start, some apps I had to uninstall and reinstall there`s definitely some kind of bug, I think I may have to factory reset my phone and start from fresh, I think that might work install the update as I would have done through my carrier, thank heavens all my apps are saved on my pc windows phone app site may take a little longer what the heck I ain`t going anywhere.

I have come to the conclusion that it is best to stay on the official release. Fewest issues.

My 920 dev phone with latest dev preview update, rogers rom on tmobile usa just got cyan. There's also another update that I'm getting after cyan but my battery level is pretty low after the cyan update to install it. I'll have to wait for my charge level to go up
