I'm thinking about getting the 920 or 925 on tmobile. What's the difference between them? Overall, which one do you feel is better?

P.s. The 920 can be used with tmobile right?

Is the 925 you are considering branded to T-Mobile? If so, it would be a better option than an unlocked AT&T branded 920.

The 920 would work if unlocked. However, unless you are in a refarmed area, you would only get EDGE (2G) data speeds, which are very slow.

Keep away from Lumia 920, it is full with issues, Lumia 925 is nothing but a fix of the Lumia 920 issues & problems.

get 925

No major, widespread issues a la Palm Pre were in the 920 nor 925.

Personally, I have a 920, and it doesn't have any major problems. There are defective models out there, but it is the same with any phone.

The 925 is more than "but a fix" of 920 issues. It is a variant, it has pluses and minuses.

920 has over the 925...
32 GB memory default (the T-Mo and most other 925's have 16)
Colorful plastic housing.
Qi wireless charging built in (925 requires external case)
IPS LCD display (which is better is subjective)

925 has over the 920...
slimmer metal housing, available in shades of grey
AMOLED display tech
slightly upgraded camera
it will work best with T-Mo (if you get the T-Mo model)

Both are awesome phones. You really can't go wrong with either one as long as you're in an area where you'll get the advantage of LTE. I have both (my 920 is an unlocked Rogers version). It has a storage advantage over the 925, but the 925 should be fine if you're not the type who needs your entire music collection on your phone.

I have a Nokia Lumia 925 with a weird feeling here. When I ending a call, and the screen back to home, its makes a strange sound. Anyone have this problem with 925?

The 920. but on AIO. you will get better coverage for less money and you won't even need to unlock the phone.

I have a 920 and have no issues. What you get with the 920 on T-Mobile, it is fully compatible with T-Mobile LTE Bands, if you are in a refarmed area you will get HSPA+.

You also get 32 gigs of memory verses just 16, and QI charging built in. The cameras are about the same except the 925 has an extra lenses.

Because of the memory I would go for the 925.

If you are in the Seattle Area, you get 2g, and HSPA+ and LTE on the AT&T model.

I have both phones and owned the NL920 eight mths longer than the NL925. I have no issues whatsoever; not even dust getting under the camera lens.

The 925 is better in my opinion.

Ok, my Lumia 920 was my worst experience with a smartphone ever, dust under front facing camera (design issue), problems with blinking screen out of the box drive me almost crazy, and some issues with the software where there was same lag.

any way it is not my opinion only, there is so many reviews talking about this issues around the internet ............. no body misleading me it was one of my bad experiences with a smartphone.

I got latter on a Lumia 520 & 720 and I really loved those devices.
