925 on the way

Just ordered a 925 from Newegg. I will keep the 521 for backup and hazardous duty and I will keep coming here because of the high quality of the posters in this part of wpcentral.

I just received my 925 from the ShopHQ deal... Still keeping my 521 as the "stuntman" as well.

As much as I love the way the 925 looks (and the camera, and the screen, and the RAM, and the LTE, and the ...) I can't help but feel the 521 is a bit more solid. I'm yet to order a case for it, as I'm using an old leather side holster that the 925 fits into perfectly (a little too perfect, as the corners are exposed where the leather wraps around the ends) and I'm anxious about dings and scrapes. My 521 just slid right into my jeans pocket, ready for action.

My nephew had a 900 stolen in Peru and got a 925 to replace it. I was looking at it a few days ago and it needs something because it is too slippery. I put one of these on my 521: http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-521/234868-new-case.html and may use the same or similar for 925. I was looking at this also Buy Mozo flip cover for Nokia Lumia 925 - Microsoft Store It would make it similar to my surface but I wonder how taking photos would be.

The screen is such a huge plus. I also missed the compass and city lens. I need to practice with the fancy camera now.

I agree the compass was missed a lot with yer 521.
Anxious to get shooting with the camera. too!
