$999 for 128GB storage? Worth for business?

Personally I don't think anyone should buy the base... 4GB of RAM and the 128GB SSD are going to cause serious issues if you want to use anything but Win 10S... Even with Win 10S I have my doubts as to how it will perform in a year or two..

Another issue with the small SSD is that the machine only has ONE port.. While USB A is not the issue you are going to need a dock or a dongle if you want to connect more than one thing at a time..

The ONE port effects all the versions though but it does effect the 128GB SSD more as that storage is going to get gobbled up quickly...

I guess it would depend on what your business you are talking about. Had my work laptop for a couple years and have only used like 45GB...

Completely depends on your business and how you treat the data.

All of our work laptops have 256GB, and 180GB before that. Most people don't come close to 50% usage, because most people use the network drives instead of the C:.

College students max out their drives really fast and 128GB is definitely a no go here

Surface laptop with 128GB storage have 900mb/s write speed and it's not good because other brand with same storage have faster write speed and less price

If it is office documents, 128 gigs is plenty. If you are putting photos and games, definitely not!

It would depend on what your business is. I have 256GB and it's barely enough. You Could spring for an Office 365. Office is obiquitous and it's only the outliers who want to tinker around with G-Suite. With the returning on-demand sync feature, and 1TB of onedrive storage space, you could just offload all your files onto onedrive and sync them on demand.

I would worry about the ram way more than the storage. I mean its pretty cheap to get an external hdd/sdd for all the files you don't need at all times.

Good question! But, SP products are really well built according to reviews. This makes your question tough to answer.

It really depends on your application. At my workplace, we stress that people shouldn't be saving documents to the PCs. We have a SAN that we back up that is specifically to store all user data. So, our desktop PCs should top out at 40-80 GB usage. I'm sure a lot of businesses are like that. But personal use usually requires more storage.
