A couple of questions

I'm thinking of picking up an XL and have a few questions:

- The model sold at the Microsoft store near me is dual SIM... this shows 2 SIM icons all the time at the very top in the notification tray as well as dual SIM options in SMS when trying the demo.. is there a way to turn this off is only using 1 SIM and not display the 2nd empty slot?

- When listening to audio in a quiet environment, and then the audio stops, is there a popping noise coming from the speaker; as in, you can hear the amp turning off?

No you cannot change that, and make the empty sim slot icon disappear. Its by default always be available on the top.

I second these answers. I don't expect such a noise issue, unless you're looking at a defective device which is possible but unlikely.
