First pic seemed better. The rest were horrible
No idea if you don't know what to look for when comparing sharpness, but even in thumbnail view, you can see more detail in the middle picture. Shown at 100%, it is more obvious.

In the first comparison, yes the middle pic looks good.

The other comparisons the detail didn't look good at all. Maybe on the computer the pic is better quality, but on my phone its really bad.

That could be it. Mobile phones don't always render webpages (and images therein) as well as desktops/laptops.

Random freeze and reboots. Fixed?
Live tiles randomly stop updating. Fixed?
Apps update notification randomly stops working. Fixed?

These are OS issues, a firmware update won't fix it. OS update will. That comes from Microsoft. Not from Nokia.

excited for this...I have a question though, if you manually flashed portico via navifirm, will you still be able to get updates from nokia or ms once they officially come out?

I still can see the 1308 versions on Navifirm....downloading the GB CV one as no Austrian version is available yet.
The unlocked European "RM-821" Lumia 920 firmware is still on the server and ready for download.
The RM-820 has been pulled.

To much sharpening and there is some nasty dithering. iPhone ones looks better for eyes especially in 100%.
