A note on returns

I had to return my Surface today as the sd card reader kept disconnecting. I went to the new yorkdale store in Toronto. I have nothing but good things to say! I didn't expect for it to go bad but I didn't know how smoothly it would go either. I walked in and told them the problem. Within about a minute the guy said yeah no problem we will exchange it for another one right now. As the one guy was getting the new Surface the other guy was checking it out and agreed with me something was completely wrong. The whole process maybe took 10 min. My wife was vey surprised and happy about how easy it all was. I thought maybe they would take the Surface and say they would have to take it and check and possibly fix it but instead it was a painless professional experience. Nothing but good things to say about Microsoft's customer service
 
I had to return my Touch cover due to the touchpad area being highly temperamental. I contacted Microsoft live chat and it was all done via them. It was a pleasurable experience probably one of the best I have ever had. Just to let everyone know, I'm in the UK, I registered the complaint at 1300 Yesterday (30 Jan) and Today (31 Jan) at 1345 I got my replacement, It came with a returns label that I popped back onto the original box and the delivery guy waited and took it away. Absolute Superb! I love my Surface RT it does near enough everything I want and it gets better each day!
 
When I demolished my first surface (my fault of course) Microsoft told me to buy the accidental protection (even after I told them it already happened and it was after 30 days of owning the device) and they replaced everything really easily! I worked with the same guy the entire time, he even called me double checking that I got everything, and then called a week after to confirm that everything is working properly and that I am satisfied with the service!
