Microsoft is offering a drawing for an 830 and 200 dollars towards AT&T service as a Bing rewards sweepstakes. I'd call that confirmation!

AT&T customer support got back to me on twitter confirming that they will carry it. Also pointed to Nov 7th as the "Very likely" launch date.
