Accidental calls with Lumia 521

My new Lumia 521 will make accidental phone calls if I forget to lock it and put in my pocket. (I think It has even happened when I lock it). My brother is quite pissed. Will getting a cover prevent this? (The local T-Mobil stores do not have a cover in stock).

Password the lock screen should help. Phone shops or Ebay/Amazon should sort you some sort of cover if you want to be doubly sure.
