Action shot, delete object etc. missing?

I found out yesterday that these functions that I had on 930 are missing from my 950XL. I wanted to make an action shot, but all I could to is extract frames from the 4k video that I took.

Is this really missing?

action shot exists in lumia camera and not MS camera hence for your 950xl you won't find that feature.

Just great really. I miss the days when you bought a newer phone and it was actually an upgrade allover. Today, you buy a flagship only to find out that half of the features that you had on older phone are missing.

The current train of thought is that these features will be added later as add ons but nothing has materialised so far

It's frustrating to see everything we loved about our os fade away. I converted several people to Lumia based on the camera alone because we had the best. We no longer have the best camera and photo apps. I myself have been toying with switching phones, there is not enough to stay anymore. Ms is more focused on Ios and android than their own phones and os.
