Ok I know the current conversations are all based on the shineyness of 8.1 but..... I have been trying since 8, and hoped that 8.1 would fix it. How do I use Cortana with the cars built in Bluetooth system? Cortana acts like it is functioning through the system but the car doesn't seem to notice.

Help!

2009 Acura TSX non-tech/base.

Thanks In advance!

Also, I have tried "connecting in a different way"
Audio output is totally more, the phone does believe it is outputting through the Bluetooth, but the car doesn't see it that way. Phone calls work done, just not Cortana/tell-me

I've noticed a similar thing with my KIA Optima. The thing I have noticed is to make sure on the Phone screen of my in-car display, to wait for it to say "calling" even though a call is not actually being made. That's when she seems to be listening to me.

The in dash display says "calling" but its not dialing. I think that's just the message it shows BC it doesn't know what else to say.

Stopped by a Honda dealership yesterday. Audio comes in through stereo heard unit over aux input, rather than via the hands free. Stupid. But he told me I was far more fortunate than an apple user, as they wouldn't even get that. So now I need to play with it some more as I think the phone is still using the car for a mic. :(

What sucks is that my old car I had a blue any visor clip and it worked perfectly. :(

I'd be interested in this too. On a related note, has anyone with Honda Accord 2013 or later got the Pandora interface on the car for working? TIA!

Great pandora question. I just picked up a new mdx and no matter what I try the Pandora interface won't work. Did you figure it out?

My 2011 CRV will not stream anything over Bluetooth. Hands Free LInk is for phone calls only. I think Honda updated it in 2012, too late for us though. My car is completely biased to an iPod. I can connect one via a powered USB port and control it through the steering wheel controls. Anything else, and I'm out of luck.
