"Adding Finishing touches" ruined my pics

Ok so I got myself a Lumia 550 today and after taking i photo and checked it on the Photos app it said "Adding Finishing touches" and boom as a result slightly blurred pics and low filesize of pics show up. Is there a way to disable this feature?? :crying:

make sure to update the photos and camera app and the OS too and then check if the same happens
