Ads often take 80%+ of the viewing space

I'm one of the few people left who avoids using AdBlockers because I know you need the ads revenue, but the site has been unusable on mobile lately, with ads frequently taking more than 80% of my phone screen.

That's not even taking into account the videos that play automatically.

Here's an example based on today's article. I can close the video, but the huge ad below has no way to be closed, and never goes away even if I scroll down to the bottom of the page (which is 100% ads / clickbait).

Highly recommend that you re-think this design.

we actually pushed an update that should improve this a little bit. could you keep an eye out if things have improved recently?
