After one year with the Lumia 920, there are some great things about Windows Phone and some features missing vs other phones, but there are also some really annoying basic things that MS should address.
- Messaging keyboard disappearing mid-message. This is one of the most annoying aspects of the keyboard.
- Rollover on websites not working. Try logging out of Amazon.com desktop site using IE. It's almost impossible.
- Also, the back button sometimes just stops working and links stop working in IE. This seems random.
- Easy to accidentally pressing Bing search. They need to add a setting to disable or make it active on long-press or double-press.
- No phone dialer as a start screen icon. Dialing a number requires you to go to the phone app and then clicking on a tiny icon. There are dialer apps but it should be part of the phone feature.
- No battery percentage number. The info is there in settings, but it should be visible at the home screen. The icon bar is also not very granular so a percentage number would fix this.
- Inconsistent battery drain.
- The contextual back button is annoying. It shouldn't be used to close apps or if it does, it should be a double-tap or something.
