Hi. I'm currently staying at an AirBNB that advertised fast BB, and I'm wanting to work on software development in my break. I have five devices, two Android tablets, one Android phone, a Windows 10 PC and this Mac. All devices connect to the Wifi okay. However, the PC and phone won't connect to the internet.
For the phone, it repeatedly obtains an IP address and forgets, then gives up saying "Avoided poor internet connection".
For the PC, trouble shooter says, "your computer appears to be configured correctly but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding."
The automatic DHCP provided the wrong DNS (8.8.4.4?) so I've tried copying the IP settings from this Mac but the issue prevails.
Could really do with getting the internet working on the PC. Any ideas? I have no access to the router and can only work with a Mac that connects fine and the PC that doesn't.
