Alarm broken?

I've been having weird issues with Alarms also on my Lumia Icon

I have WP8.1 DP

Issues did not start till after installing preview so I think a firmware update will fix it.

I set my alarm for 7:30 but it rings at 9:30. I think its an internal clock issue. This specific alarm was not changed after installing DP and its 2 hours off however any NEW alarm I have set is correct.

My alarm failed this morning, aboout 5 hours ago. I just had to reboot the phone due to a different issue and when the phone came back up, a bunch of my calendar notications all popped up...
I should have got these calendar nofications this moring as well. What could be clogging these notifications up? or is some internal service failing and shutting down that is in charge of these?

The Alarms have been broken since WP7. They stop working after a couple of weeks or months. The only solution is to change your alarm times to a different time (1 min before or after the time you want) When it stops working again, just change it to 2min before or after.I use my surface for my alarms now.( So far no problems) Calendar notification I have found to be broken as well. Even on my Surface, my calendar notifications go off at 6am every morning when they should go off at 12am. I think this is because Microsoft refuses to use people's local time zone to update things. For example: I live on the east coast and the Xbox marketplace is not updated until 3am which is 12am PST(Microsoft time). I have also found that an alarm I set would randomly go off many hours later. I cant believe Microsoft hasnt fixed this yet in 8.1.

Wow, those issues are serious!
My issue may be related but i'm not feeling they are and here is why:
If an alarm does not go off at the set time, the next time i restart my phone, that missed alarm fires instantly as the phone finishes powering up! I cna restart within 5 minutes or even a coupel hours of a missed alarm and that missed alarm will fire at that time... I am guestimating that there is a queue and that a hung job is holding up the notifications behind it... Reboot and it clears and allows the rest through.

OK, i gave up waiting and am currently hard resetting my Icon.
I'll let it go a week and check back in then...

I just had this happen to me this morning. I have the walking dead theme wake me every morning and it didn't work this morning, so I was late. My 925 was defaulting to the Nokia alarm even though it showed being the walking dead theme. I deleted the alarm and now it plays the correct sound file. I hope it doesn't f-up again.

I'm on morning 3 after a hard reset on Monday and my alarms have all fired correctly so far...

I have owned Lumia 710 about 1,5 years (wp 7.0 and updated to wp 7.5). It worked fine with alarms about four months but suddenly one morning it didnt work. After sleeping few hours over my "ALARM" time i checked my phone and after unlocking lock screen it made sound and showed my "ALARM". I checked alarms and it was "ON" but it supposed to make sound few hours back. How can it be? After that i have done a several "Hard Resets" but it does not solve the problem, it keeps coming up again after few weeks. Also sometimes it doesnt make no sound and no notification on the screen when it supposed to do that. Its seems like its huge problem with windows phone software and it doesnt matter what kind of version you have. I have used original alarm software and also third-party software but nothing doesnt work as it should be.

My friend has brand new Lumia 630 wp 8.1 and it does the same thing, sometimes alarms doesnt go off, smetimes they do.

I have solved this problem for my self - i use my very old Nokia 6310i for everyday alarms and it hasnt failed me never!

Also my Lumia 710 has facing problem with calendar notifications, sometimes they just doesnt go off and you will miss them. I have checked all settings and they are all as they supposed to be.

Folks,
My alarm fails to work. I got late to work. Then I thought I fixed the problem, tested it, it worked fine, but failed to work in the morning. This is a huge problem. Absolutely do not rely on alarms. Use your old phone, other devices etc. There seem to be no solution to this problem.

The alarm definitely has a problem. Shame on you, Microsoft! Nokia never ever had problems like these. And Nokia's alarms before Microsoft would work even if you turned the phone off!

i have a lumia 532, and i have now experienced 3 times where the weekly alarm fails. every time it fails is on mondays. after the first time it failed i thought, that maybe i didn't hear it. the week after, the second time it failed i put in another alarm for a slightly different time, and turned the first 1 off then on. it worked again, until today, when both monday alarms did not sound. i have been using the alarms for less than 3 months now, and i only have problems with mondays.

I am facing the same problem. I updated my phone to windows 10 from 8.1
my app does not give any sound nor it shows on the screen that its alarm. At the given time it just give a notification in notification bar of alarm and after that when i click on this Alarm is automatically off:angry:
