alarm indication on a lock screen

Why there is no alarm indication (small alarm clock icon next to a clock) on a lock screen when I set an alarm in WP10?
Notifications on a lock screen are allowed for Alarm&Clock application.

I'm not sure why yours doesn't have one. I have the little alarm icon on my lock screen.

What version of Windows 10 are you using, and what Insider ring are you enrolled in?

What do you mean by Insider ring?
I've never been enrolled to any Insider version.

SOLVED

hard reset solved an issue.
calendar appointments did not show up on a lock screen either so I decided to do a reset.
