Alias email - sending new?

I'm a newbie at both using my 640XL and also at using forums, so I apologise in advance if this post is in the wrong place!

A quick but puzzling question: Using Outlook on my lumia phone, how do I send a new email to someone "from" one of my now created alias email addresses? I can do this using my old PC (by signing in to outlook, clicking "new" and then selecting down the left hand pane which address to send "from".

But not when using Outlook on my 8.1 phone?? From my phone, all emails seem to send "from" my main default address, which totally defeats the point of creating new aliases to use for different purposes!

The Microsoft webpages offer no solutions that I can find, and nor do the official Lumia ones.
Any ideas people? 'Twitawooo'!

To use the same as main on your phone, you need to make it as primary email address over PC browser and then it gets updated automatically over your phone. I did mine last week.
