I thought it may be my mouse so I uninstalled & reinstalled mouse device - I have read some forums and went into settings/personalisation/colour & switched off automatic pick colour - I changed my mouse from wifi to plugin (usb) - this didn't help.
I have another pc that has windows 10 installed & cross-checked my mouse settings - all same.
