All the fuss about Alcantra

Not sure how I feel about it since you can't replace it if it gets stained/ruined or even worn over time.

Im also concerned about staining and wear, but I'm pretty sure MS has done some research into the product before putting it on their laptop.

I think its unique... and that's a selling point... and thats what they needed for this product to help offset Windows 10 S

As far as I'm concerned, Alcantra or not doesn't matter. I love the device and the engineering behind it. I'm just concerned about it's promotion as a student's companion. Luxury and college use don't go together; I think we all can agree that Microsoft sucks at marketing and this beauty will probably be another victim.

Well there r people who use phones n laptops while eating food n dont mind dropping some on the laptop n thats why there r laptop covers n so many ways to clean ur lap

But honestly if it was me i wud always make sure my hands were clean just to keep that beauty shining...
Absolutely, it deserves a lot ! ??????

After being a Surface user for +5 years, I honestly think fabric and technology don't mix. The durability just isn't there.

Exactly! What do I do if the fabric comes off or something?(not a concern for anyone who loves their devices(including me), but it'll probably get bad press)

The bummer is that you can't just swap the keyboard out, like in the pro. Guess you just have to be careful XD.
