Am I the only WP user on planet earth who reads WPCentral that has NOT become a developer and upgraded to WP8.1??
I'm UK based and am going to wait until O2 roll out the final upgrade with a UK Cortana. Am I mad or just patient in waiting for the final version for my area?

Do you need something to whine about? :smile: j/k If you're not comfortable doing it, you're better off waiting. I'm happy with it so far but as I'm sure you've seen, many others, for whatever reason, are not.

My situation is even more desperate than you.When I finally decided to make the move to 8.1 and was done with the first of the two updates, my WiFi connection decided to break down and I'm stuck with listening to people talk about WP 8.1 :'(

I decided to wait too, but... My mobile operator retains any updating more than a year... So, yesterday I signed up as developer and updated to 8.1. Happy for doing that. Although is just a preview version, is quite a improving vs. Amber version I had before. And the answer I think, is yes, you are alone. Hehehe...

Not sure how you are able to wait...I could not do it. The update has really impressed me. Enough so that I am using my Lumia 925 as my daily driver for two weeks to really test out 8.1! Have my androids "resting"
