Am I crazy to want the 640 over HTC m8

I've considered downgrading before, and if that results in a phone that better has what you value, then why not.

Funny you posted this, because I was going to start a thread with the same title. No, not crazy, but I will want to see some photos from the 640 before deciding. The camera on the M8 just isn't good enough for me.

I do wish TMO was getting the 640XL, though.

As long as the phone can fulfill your needs, it is not considered as a downgrade regardless of brands and models. I'm rocking on a 1520 and I, too, wanna get my hands on 640. 1520 is a beast, but sometimes I prefer holding a much smaller phone suitable for one-hand operations.

All this nonsense about flagship/non-flagship is irrelevant. Those that harp on about wanting a flagship device lose sight of the fact that most people don't need an ultra high-end device.

Does the phone meet your needs as the end user? Do you like it? If yes, then get it.

The M8 camera is terrible. Besides that, I was never a fan of the design of the M8. Yes, I'm aware probably 97% of the world disagrees with me, cool, still not a fan.

I really like what the 640 and 640 XL bring to the game. I was planning to eventually get a 930, but now I've changed my mind.
