Windows Central Question

I do not need NVIDIA and I uninstalled the driver and program. My Windows 10 update information is still saying that I can't install it because of this program. Is there something I'm missing that still should be uninstalled??? I've deleted cookies and everything. HELP!

Click Windows + R key to bring up the run dialog box, type "dxdiag" to bring up the Direct X properties window. From the display tab what's the graphics adapter?

okay, that didn't help. Can you go to control panel >> device manager >> under display adapters what name do you see? Also check under USB controllers if you see anything called chipset?

Ok, I followed your directions and see the name NVIDIA. I didn't see anything called "usb controllers" and also didn't see anything called chipset. Do you have any other thoughts? I appreciate your help!

Okay, so this is what I am trying to do.. get your motherboard model number. There is a program called Speccy. Download and install it. There is a motherboard section in the program, paste the details from there.

May be he is missing the latest driver and/or has a legacy NVIDIA chipset motherboard which needs updated drivers. Without knowing that it's hard to assist him.
