Amazon app being 'retired' next month??!!

I just opened the Amazon App and saw this notice on the home screen. I'm hoping this means they are coming out with a UWP, right? :crying:

maybe , maybe not. Try the browser as many have said it works much better there

I saw a commercial two nights ago and the advertisement listed it as available on iPhone, Android, and "AMAZON" apps....WTF?

Amazon has its own app store for its Kindle devices. The Amazon App Store apps can also be installed on Android devices.
