Currently in the UK the Microsoft Store is selling the L950 for ?450 and Amazon is selling it for ?430. Is there a reason I would go for the MS store over Amazon in this scenario?!

Should be no difference but worth confirming the warranty situation. If Amazon (or Amazon seller) is getting the phones, even the exact same model, from another market (not likely) the warranty might not be valid where you live. In the US, retailers sell (pre-ordering now) the same 950XLs as the US Microsoft stores but they are importing them from another market and won't have a US warranty.

Personally I'd get one from Amazon (not a Marketplace Seller) as their customer service is better than Microsoft's. They'll often swap the phone out rather than giving a refurbished one if anything goes wrong.

Yeah this is why I pre ordered me from Amazon here in the UK.

Of course now we have CPW who have undercut Amazon. Maybe Amazon will adjust their pricing, but is it worth switching to CPW?
