Further cementing its association with sweets and it's childish appearance, Android have opted for KitKat as their latest software name.

More than happy to stick four fingers up at them now instead of the usual one.

What happened to Key Lime Pie?

EDIT: Ah yes...

4.4 = KitKat
5.0 = Key Lime Pie

Still weird that Jelly bean took us from 4.1 up to 4.3.
 
But Android can't load faster in playing video online over 3G compare to windowsphone .
 
Key Lime Pie wasn't well known enough apparently (like Froyo is??) so they got into bed with Nestl? for a mutually beneficial partnership.

Cue KitKats with "win a free phone" wrappers.
