One issue I personally have with Windows Mobile 7 is the inability to install your own software. Having to get software from one source is a big reason why i haven't even considered purchasing an iPhone.
Yes Android is the logical choice for WinMo defectors...however I'm still holding out hope for WinMo7.
And actually I stick with WinMo 6.5.5 and Sense 2.5 right now...the latest versions are speedy enough and it adds some good functionality and style to the device.
...now with an androird port coming along for the Tilt2 I may be torn between OS's when that's working properly.

Really? Where did you hear this from, that you cannot install your own software. That sure seems weird, but I have no experience with WinMo 7 so wouldn't know. In fact, I didn't realize there were any copies of it in use to know these things.
Casino must be quite an app for you to hinge your decision off of. Being an avid 360 gamer, I'm looking forward to seeing the Windows 8, Windows Phone, and the Xbox connect via Xbox Live. I guess, Im more interested in the bigger picture.
I'm glad he posted. I got a chuckle out of my own post on this page, when I knew next to nothing about "WinMo 7". Now I'm on the HTC Arrive and totally loving the phone. I do hope that more apps come to it, as there are some I miss, but the OS is totally sweet. And I also downloaded and am running Windows 8 Developer. Mighty stable for a developer release, and I can see it rocking the tablet world.
