GDRDU: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3176938)

Failed to install.
Installation went up to 95% and then stuck on that for some time and then the computer restarted and said reverting to previous version.

I have encountered the same problem with update KB3176938. My computer is a Dell XPS 9350. I have also tried running that windows update troubleshooter and it has not solved my problem. What other ways can I use to troubleshoot this problem?

you can bypass the inbuilt update and instead download the standalone package of the update from Microsoft Update Catalog here:> Microsoft Update Catalog

remember to use internet explorer while visiting the above mentioned website :)

can you try installing that update while internet is off? Let it download and the moment it starts installing, switch of internet
Also, check if you have the option selected to install updates for other services like office - disable that and then check for updates
