Another bad cnet review of the 1020

Did anybody else notice the cankles on this b**h? She's not even that big . . .

Hahaha, I saw that. I left a similar comment on the youtube video. I don't get why so many fanboys blow their wad over her.

I find the comments here about her appearance rather distasteful. What do her looks have to do with anything?

Also, I didn't find the "torture test" to be that bad. She kept saying how well built it was, and it withstood the drops, throws, stepped on etc. So it didn't survive the juice-marinading, big deal. The iPhone 5 barely survived the drop tests.

I guess many here are a little overly sensitive after that admittedly idiotic "review" she did before.

Cankles?

When love of a device makes one refer to human beings in such a manner, it's probably time to take a step back and breathe.

It's in inanimate object. Regardless of what folks say, it's feelings won't get hurt.

Maybe so, but did you ever consider the fact that the users of that "inanimate object" feeling's might?

There are plenty of human beings, but there is but one 1020!

Last I checked, there are thousands if not millions of 1020s out in the world, but there is only one Molly Wood. She may not have performed a quality review, but I do think we're stepping out of line. It's one thing to say she's an iSheep, it's another to start picking out what you deem flaws and exploiting them in personal attacks.

There's but one Molly Wood, and unlike the Lumia 1020, she has feelings.

I do agree though that we shouldn't be insulting someone's looks because they gave a phone a bad torture test.... Unless it was their 1020 ;)

I assume you haven't seen the world, how much insult does a WP8 owner bear when he tells droid or sheeps that wp runs lag free?

cool story bro.

I have no doubt, hence some of the comments in this thread.

If I say something about someone's device of choice (not a child, or spouse, or defenseless person) it shouldn't incite rage. At least, I don't think it should.

I'd hate to see what would happen if Ms Wood reviewed shows, or a brand of toothpaste. Might cause a riot.

Honestly, as bad as these are at least they aren't as bad as some of the articles I see when looking through the yahoo news. Some of them are just terrible. They aren't even articles, just people writing up something to say "apple is better, just cause.' It's really sad. Motley Fool has to be the worst.
