8.1 for me slowed my phone down. It went to the point where I wondered what was the point of switching from a Samsung Galaxy Ace if it would be as slow.
And then I switched the region from the US back to Singapore. Everything's running smooth as butter now. I'm guessing Cortana, great as she is, is too heavy a burden to bear for my little old 625. I hope that gets fixed by the time (and IF) they officially bring Cortana here.
