Any news on a 1020 successor?

I had an 808 and so I thought I'd get a 1020 (back when it was released) but I wasn't impressed and sold it. I've been waiting ever since for Nokia to announce the successor to the 1020 but it doesn't look like it is coming any time soon. Is there any news that I've missed? Do Microsoft have any upcoming events where they could show it off?

I'm just hoping they fix the many issues the 1020 has and actually put an imaging chip in like the 808 had.

No there is no news you have missed.

The search button is your friend, its been discussed and pined for to the moon and back.

Will it appear? It'd be stupid if it didn't eventually, but nothing new probably for the rest of the year. At least that's what my money is on. I could be wrong.
