Any other iphone users thinking of coming back after todays letdown?

Can someone tell me why Windows hardware and software trumps an iPhones? I would really love to know. As far as I understand it, you all still can't use custom notifications.

For me the UI is what did it. The live tiles trump any advantage any other OS has. I love the look

I'm not a convert but I did convert someone else :). The reason was the camera. The iphone has had an 8 MP camera for what 3 models now, back to 4S? I know MPs aren't everything but still, tvs are getting bigger and higher resolution everyday and I already stream all photos to my tv.

I don't know how Apple gets away with charging top dollar prices for a phone with camera that would sell on a midrange phone on any other OS.

For storage reasons, I personally like Android better though. More flexibility.

And Damn glad I can't either. I get to control the phone, not vice versa. Spent 4 years in the droid world, hated notification abuse in apps. I'm sure we're all familiar with how much notification ignoring there is going on out there.

Who here hasn't seen a phone with dozens uncleared notifications? Or the flip side, all those folks incessantly clearing notifications? All that is better, how?

I actually like the iPhone. Its the tie to iTunes I really dislike - particularly in a business/company phone setting.

There's a check box to disable notifications for each, individual app.

What's this infatuation with notifications? Do you need to feel important to those nearby? A short ring and a live tile is as good as it gets. Does your iPhone have a clown jump out and do a song and dance to inform you of a Facebook like?
