Any way to start syncronisation from phone data?

Hi, my work calender comes from server to my phone. My task is to get the work calendar to my own phone. Both phones are Lumia. Work phone is Lumia 620 and my own is Lumia 820. I try to syncronise work phones data to Outlook. My problem is that I can't start cyncronisation from the phone. Every app that I know starts from Outlook. Is there any app which can start syncing from phone data?

That is not possible currently. If you can configure your work email account on your phone, then you might be able to use only the calender.

Have you made sure that you have the right information? What kind of error message does it give you? If you are syncing the work calendar, as long as you have the right server information and the right credentials, you should have no problem with your own phone syncing with the work server.

My employer doesn't give me settings to get the exchange account. So I need way to get the calendar data from my phone to Outlook?

Hi,
I found that my phone automatically syncs with my windows live ID (ie. hotmail, outlook whatever you want to call it). what you could do however is to sync your windows account with Outlook. this ought to pull your calendar data as well then.

So how to get your WP calendar into outlook.

step 1. make a windows ID/hotmail account if you haven't already done so.
step 2. add the windows account to your phone
step 3. add the windows account to Outlook
step 4 profit (???)

or more simply you can simply select which account to sync your appointments to when you make the appointment, in my case apparantly the default was my hotmail account. but i can select my work account as well.
