Any WebKit browser in the works?

The interface of IE is nice but the rendering engine still sucks compared to WebKit (even if it's technically brilliant, WebKit is what every other smartphone maker uses...Apple, RIM, Palm, Android, even Nokia).

So instead of getting the WebKit-optimized mobile versions of sites I get the mobile version designed for dumb phones.

Anyway since WebKit is open source, is it possible for someone to build a WebKit browser? Or do the MS restrictions prohibit alternative browsers a la Apple (and if so, when can I get the jailbreak WebKit browser? ;) )

ok a phew things to say.

first Nokia = Symbian OS ;)

Here what i do :

- open IE ,
- click ont he little 3 dots at bottom of screen
- click on SETTINGS
- UNCHECK `` Mobile Version
- CHECK `Desktop Version``

like youtube opens up freaking vids 1/20 the size of my screen cause it thinks i have a old crapy NON HD phone lol ;) if u switch to ``DESKTOP VERSION`` problem goes away.

theres a 3D Web browser App out there right now u can get , witch is really nice , forgot whats its called doh.
