Anybody have experience with Flightradar24?

It went on sale so I bought it
I'm puzzled that it says "live tile" but I can't figure out any way in which the tile is live... Nor is there a background task apparently.
Nor is there any way to save a flight as a favorite or whatever; say I'm picking up two people at the airport and I want to follow both their flights...
I guess what I expected is a way to pin a flight as a live tile and follow it that way, but I can't find anything like that.

Hey I just bought this app as it was on sale. It looked great when WPC reviewed it.

I cant see a way to achieve what your doing & TBH I think the app is a just a bit of fun (cockpit view etc). That said you could keep an eye on someones plane landing by just keeping the app open. But I guess you know that already !

There is a way to have lock screen notifications but I have not tried it so I don't know what it puts on the lock screen.

Does anyone know if it supports metric units yet? Coz Ima not buy it till it supports metric units seeing as Im in Australia and all!

I`ve got full version and can change Units beetwen Feet/Meters, Kilometers/Miles/Nautical miles, km/h/Mph/Knots.

Yeah the live tile doesn't work for me either, but other than that it's a wonderful application. Cockpit view is amazing.
