I love Wintersun. I can't remember who, but one of the band members says it is a "Majestic Progressive Melodic symphonic death metal band", made me laugh. XD

I'm a fan of many music genres but metal is my favorite. I like progressive metal. Between the Buried and Me is arguably my favorite. Conducting from the Grave's first album is amazing.

I'm not much of a fan of Nu Metal unless you are talking Dry Kill Logic.

I'm not much of a fan of Nu Metal unless you are talking Dry Kill Logic.

Really like Type O Negitive, to bad Peter Steele died last year, and of course Metalica and Megadeath are great.

Maybe they are not metal through and through, but I listened to nothing but Porcupine Tree from 2010 through a good chunk of 2011. And it was good.

I'm going to forego the "mallcore kid" elitist insults, I will just say I find most Metalcore distasteful. That being said, what bands do you like? Soilworks newer stuff? All that Remains?

Yeah. King Diamond is great. ^.^ I usually prefer those demonic types of vocals, but I understand most don't.
