Anyone else's Band not go above 80% when charging?

Mine has been on the charger for about an hour now and the display still says 80%. It was at 70% before I took a shower and up to 80% by the time I got out, but hasn't increased since.

Update: Restarted the Band and it showed 100%.

Trying running the battery down as much as the device will allow and then recharge completely before unhooking the charger.

It takes a while to go from 80% to 100%.

Remember Microsoft stated that it rapidly charges to 80% (in 30 mins) but to fully charge the device takes 90mins, 1.5 hours. Mine was stuck at 80% too last night, but it eventually charges the final 20%

I had same issue on 2 devices that had been charging in excess of 2 hours. After restarting, both showed 100%. Maybe they will get an update out to fix this.

80% seems to be a plateau which it stays at for a long while, at least on the display, but it does go to 100%.

You have to enable watch mode in the settings, then when the display is "off" it will show the charge percentage.

No idea! I put it on the charger in the morning while I showered. But the battery icon is at the 75% mark and I took it off the charger at 8:30 this morning. Not putting it back on the charger though until it dies. I will post again when that happens.

Pretty sure MS stated it takes 30 mins to charge the band to 80%.....and then 1hr 30 to charge it to 100%

took what seems like forever after I ran it all the way down but got to 80% and then maybe 20 minutes more and it hit 100% but once it says plug me in on the screen it goes dead pretty quick, will probably buy a second charger for the office

Well, after taking it off the charger on Friday at 8:30am, I got a low battery warning at 5:50pm on Saturday. Its been on Bluetooth the whole time, watch mode enabled, daily heart rate on, and haptic set to medium. If my math is right I got 33 hours 20 minutes before it told me to plug in.

Well it turn off between 7:40p and 8p. So my total battery life I am putting at 35 hours 15 minutes.

That's pretty reasonable actually, for a smart band with so many sensors in it...and from the looks of it you could probably charge it up mostly in the time it takes you to have a shower and all in the morning

Yep, that's exactly what I plan to do.

Mine is been plugged in for an hour and says 80% so will see if it will fully charge in the next 2 hours I did restart just in case

It seems like most people are saying it charges rapidly to 80% and then about an hour later fully charges to 100% love the band

My Band never charges in 1:30 to 100% . Right now i am at 2 hours and its still 80%.

It takes a while from 80% to 100% for sure.

Watch mode battery life i got about 45 hours this time with:
One night i turned the bluetooth off on my phone.
One night i turned the watch off.

What i want to do is, turn the bluetooth off every night and see the battery life with watch mode. Lovin the functionality.

Part of it is just the nature of the beast. Li-ion batteries explode if overcharged. So the charge controller is going to be very cautious about the final stage of charge and will approach it slowly if it's not completely sure where "100%" is.
