Anyone know how the print function in outlook apps works

I tried to connect my Brother and Samsung printers but it doesn't see them. I even upgraded the printer firmware, the latest supports windows 10. Do they have to be on wireless or should ethernet connected also work?
I have a Brother HL2270 laser and Samsing clx-3180 multifunction laser.
