Anyone like a physical qwerty

Physical QWERTY is the single best input method for text. There is no substitute for being able to rest your thumbs on a physical keyboard and typing whatever you need to type. This is literally impossible on a touchscreen only keyboard. Think about it like this... Imagine a car's hvac/stereo control went completely touch screen. Can you imagine the headache of toggling different screens and layouts, and trying to find the right controls for the specific task???

Touchscreens are dynamic, but it will not work unless you call the correct controls. Hardware buttons will perform the job no matter what you are doing. Remember the days of reaching for your phone, memorizing where specific hardware buttons are and just performing the function you want just by memory and tactile feedback? Try to do that on an all touch device... We often do this with a TV remote... we memorize where certain buttons are, we literally just FEEL for it, and we perform the action. This is IMPOSSIBLE on a touchscreen only device. There is NO feeling for anything... you literally need to stare at the screen, call the function that you want to perform, and then perform the function. And don't even get me started about clicking the wrong touchscreen button and having to go back and correct what you did... ugh!!! so aggravating. Just give me physical buttons that will perform the task each and every time. So much wasted time with correcting auto-correct, jumping back screens, activating the correct function, and it goes on and on.

Just like the Windows Mobile HTC TouchPro2 !

I miss that phone so much. I wore out the face of some keys (till they just glowed white) creating so many documents and responding to so many emails and text messages. It was easy to get "work" done!

I want another sliding, tilting, physical, qwerty, offset, backlit, "clicking" keyboard with shift and function key additional key assignments.

Why do we always have to accept so much less, in every "next generation" of Microsoft devices? ie. Zune, Window Media Center, Windows Phones, ... The new people can't accept the great work previous people did and improve on it, they have to toss it away and start fresh with only a limited few of the prior features. Such ignorant arrogance!

Best wishes for our future.

I would love to have a portrait qwerty, like the Dell Venue Pro.
That being said, I absolutely adore WP's on screen keyboard as well.
