Anyone using a parallel imported 925 in New Zealand

Hi all,
Anyone out there in NZ used/using a parallel imported 925? I am keen to pick one of these up but have never used a parallel import device before and would be interested to hear about any experiences, particularly on the Vodafone network. Does everything work as it should? Vodafone say on their website that imported devices might drop calls, lack features etc but I'm guessing this is a bit of scaremongering. I know Vodafone are bringing in this device themselves soon but it won't be cheap and this would be a mid contract jump for me so no carrier subsidy for me!

What is a "parallel" imported device? Is that the same thing as an unlocked device from another country?

Sorry yes, different terminology here. So yes, basically a device that isnt carrier branded and brought in from another country.
