Anyone using chromecast on Windows 8,1 Laptops and tablets?

So far so good on my laptop using the chrome browser though. I can stream just about anything to my t,v,

Does this mean Windows Phone will have the same ability with Windows 10 on phones? And will Chrome desktop run on Windows Phone? Interesting.

Not so. On my iPad there's a chrome cast app available in the store but the Chrome browser doesn't have Chrome cast ability.

On my Windows 8.1 lap top there's no chrome cast app in the store but the Chrome browser is equipped with chrome cast.

I could be wrong. But I think this is intentional and permanent from Google.

But the question was about chrome for windows 10 - google may opt to not build a chrome browser for the phone version of windows 10. I guess we will know more about the logistics when more w10 announcements are made.

Precisely. All Google application are available and run well at the desktop version of Windows 8.1.

If these application continue to exist in Windows 10. I think we're in for a treat running Windows 10 on Windows Phone.
