App content search

Hi all,

I just saw this article on BI: Americans now spend more time in apps than on open web: ComScore - Business Insider

Do you think that app content search is an area where Cortana could take over and succeed?

Honestly, I do like Universal Search, having enjoyed Just Type on webOS and am evaluating BB Device Search right now.

But I don't really see in-app searching as a major target for much. I think this shift is based on people flocking to service-specific applications as opposed to a web app, not using apps instead of searching online with Google or Bing.

Or its probably just a testament to the popularity of mobile devices compared to conventional PC's for casual use.
