Moon 3D Free is the free, ad-supported version of the Windows Phone app Moon 3D, which have had more than 6000 downloads in the first 3 months with an average global rating of 4.2/5 (90 reviews).

Moon 3D calculates and displays the current moon phase. There are some apps in the marketplace that can display the moon phase but Moon 3D uses a 3D model of the moon that lets you even rotate the moon to see the far side of the moon. You may ask: what is it good for? Well, it's just fun and it looks beautiful.

If you're interested in astrology you can display the Moon Sign of the current moon or even the Moon Sign of your birth.

The updated version (v 1.5.0.2) will be available in marketplace in the coming week and is on sale for $0.99 down from $1.99.

• In the calendar view you can see at a glance when there is a Full Moon or a New Moon this month

The new version has a heavily improved compass and a customizable optional foreground image. Another new feature is Russian language support.

sorry, the app did not pass certification yet. It shouldn't take long. I will post an update when I receive the mail from ms.
Price will change as soon as it is available.

Now in marketplace

certification took some more days, sorry. When I received the mail, that it passed certification I was surprised to find it already available in marketplace. In general it takes up to 48 hours to be visible in marketplace.
