App never pinned to start

Hello all

When i try to pin an app to start, no thing happened. Screen turns to start but the app is not pinned.
Any one help pls ?

Soft reset the phone and try again (hold down power and volume down button at the same time, hold until the phone turns off and you feel a vibration, then let go of both)

If that fails, remove the app, soft reset once more, download the app again and check if that solves it
