App not opening! Transits back to app list

I am new to Windows app development. I just made an app using Visual Studio 2012 for Windows Phone 8. However, after deploying the app and when I tap the app from app list, it just makes a transition effect to the app list. This is the first time I am facing this problem...previously it worked fine!

So anyone know why the app is not even opening on my phone?

Also, do you know the difference between <phoneanorama> and <controlsanorama> ? The msdn tutorials say about <controlsanorama> while it is shown as unidentified on VS. So I replaced those tags with other.

May be that is the problem?

I haven't caught from your post if your app works fine in emulator?
Are you deploying it without debugging?
It seems like it throws an exeption...

Indeed, as amsoft indicates, its probably throwing an exception. What do you get when you start with a debugger attached (press F5 in Visual Studio with your phone connected)?
