app social not working after update

I have just updated the app social app on my Nokia Lumia and it's not working, i.e. it freezes. Do I have to uninstall it (and how - other than through app social itself - would I get it back?)

uninstall it and install it again. it will work.

if I uninstall it, how do I re-install it? I.e. which App do I use to get it back. I tried doing this through the website but i keep getting an error message that the website can't access my phone ...
